In preparation for the summer, I like to go through my babies’ drawers and prepare their summer wardrobe. Managing clothes for every season and size can be really overwhelming so I like to keep one clear storage bin in our garage per size. If it doesn’t fit in the storage bin, then I try to resell it or donate it. (Winter may take more than one bin because of the size of winter coats and boots.)
My go-to shops
My favorite places to shop for baby clothes are:
- H&M
- Old Navy
- T.J.Maxx/Marshalls
- Q by Quincy Mae for Target
- Little Planet by Carter’s
- Little Co. for Kohl’s by Lauren Conrad
- Gap Factory
- Nordstrom Rack
At Nordstrom Rack, I especially look for brands like Oliver and Rain, Peek Essentials and Petit Lem. Janie and Jack Outlet has also been sending over their items to Nordstrom Rack and items are priced at $9.99 and lower. If your budget allows there are small shops that I really enjoy like Rylee and Cru, Quincy Mae, Goumi Kids and Oat Children.
Good finds at T.J. Maxx
T.J. Maxx and Marshalls have been carrying brands like Zara, Levi’s and occasionally Quincy Mae. I have asked a T.J. Maxx employee when their Zara drop off day is. She said it comes in at random, but when it does almost all items are $5.99. Another idea is to ask an employee to check in the back for Zara for a specific size.
Second-hand
Besides your local Goodwill or Salvation Army, you may also have a local resale shop like Once Upon a Child. You can take gently used clothes to sell and have money towards a new purchase. It isn’t much, but it does add up. I also shop for baby clothes on Poshmark, Mercari, and Kidizen. I have found some great deals on there especially if you type in the search bar things like, “Quincy Mae baby girl bundle” or “Zara baby boy bundle”.
Like It To Know It
I’ve rounded up my favorite finds at my go to stores for both baby boys and girls. Many of these pieces have a similar style for toddler sizes too. You can find all of these guides in my like it to know it profile too!
If you haven’t tried Kidizen before, you can use my referral code “zan0g” for $5 off your first purchase.
